BLAST oligonucleotides

For the design of oligonucleotides – for instance for microarray, PCR or sequencing – you often want to know whether the oligos match elsewhere in a given transcriptome or genome. For this task, BLAST is the perfect tool. However, to get the most out of it, you should adjust the parameters for short oligo searches.
