Sequence inversion

Simply inverting a sequence is almost an everyday task. With this little Java tool, it is done in a second. Simply keep this page open in a browser window in the background, and sequence inversions are no longer a problem for you!

Instructions: Paste your DNA sequence into the upper text field, then click “Start”. The program will reverse the sequence. If you check the option “Replace nucleotides by complementary bases”, each base will be replaced by its complementary base (e.g. A replaced by T, G by C).

You can copy the result into the clipboard and paste it into any other program.
