Assay development
Our strong bioinformatics background and vast array of lab techniques allow for rapid development of assays relevant to biotechnological problems. We are strictly service-based and clients will be able to retain complete ownership of the resulting assays.
Each lab and client has a different setup, therefore we are happy to adapt the underlying techniques, scales and tolerances to your specific requirements.
DNA-based assays
We have developed a number of DNA-based assays in the past, aiming at the specific detection of transcription products or genomic variation. Assays can be built on PCR-based or probe hybridization approaches.
Please contact us for a detailed analysis of your requirements.
Microarrays
We routinely design oligonucleotide probes for DNA microarrays. We have created an advanced server-based in-house software application that allows for rapid turn around times and a very high quality of the microarray design. In particular, we put strong emphasis on the avoidance of cross hybridization and on homogenous physical properties of the probes.
Since the underlying software has been implemented in-house at Entelechon, we can – and in fact, routinely do – adapt it to the specific requirements a client may have. For the same reason we are platform agnostic, i.e. we can design oligonucleotide probes for virtually any of the existing microarray platforms.

Protein quantification
Our subsidiary PolyQuant GmbH is specialized in the multiplex quantification of proteins from virtually any sample source. PolyQuant’s QconCAT technology allows for the absolute quantification of proteins and for an extremely rapid assay development – typically in the range of 12 weeks for an assay developed from scratch.
