Sequencing

We offer standard sequencing for short and long runs, but also primer walking, DNA preparation, DNA quality analysis, and primer design:
- Sequencing run: From plasmid or PCR product, with a reading range of app. 650 nt. Sequences will be edited manually. For failed sequencing runs we will provide a problem analysis and repeat the run free of charge.
- Primer walking: Starting from a PCR or plasmid template and a sequence origin, we will perform the primer design, primer synthesis, and sequencing. Results will be provided on a daily basis.
- Quality analysis of your samples: Analysis on an agarose gel and via the UV spectrum, to determine quantity and purity.
- Miniprep: We isolate DNA for you from bacterial cultures (Miniprep) and use it for sequencing analysis.
- Primer design: Design and synthesis of sequencing primers for your template.

Sample preparation
The DNA quantity must be at least 20ng DNA/100 bases for PCR fragments, or 0.5 to 1.0 µg for plasmids.
Available primers
We have a wide range of standard primers available which we will use free of charge for the sequencing of your samples. For a detailed list of available primers, please click here for downloading all primers as txt-File.
Volume discount
For larger sequencing projects, we offer a significant volume discount. If you want to aggregate sequencing orders over a larger period of time, we offer a convenient sequencing account: Once you have deposited a freely choosable sum into the account, ordered sequencing services will be covered by the account, with a discount of 7%.
